Alehk Rod (Madrid, 1993) is a visual artist whose practice is based on pictorial research from the reinterpretation of the possibilities of the gaze. Having a reduced visual range due to physical conditioning, Alehk Rod constantly deconstructs and constructs in her work everything she sees, interpreting her environment in a very personal way. It is in this daily visual process where the inspiration arises that has defined from the beginning the line of his work and pictorial style, as an exercise of ironization of reality from his own visual condition. Her visual language is based on the deconstruction of the image and the combination of geometries with a palette of bright colors that, through multiple layers, raises levels of depth through the plane, and the lack of sharpness through the opaque. Her work, which starts from an initial geometric figuration, finally leads to an abstraction rooted in his interest in form and the use of color. Her work evokes the limitations of spatial perception and the reinterpretation of reality through kaleidoscopic visions.
Her most recent exhibitions include: 100 x 29 (Arniches Gallery, El Principal, Vigo, Spain, 2022), Lille Art Up, Pedro Luis Requenart (Lille, France, 2022), Joy (Garna Gallery, Madrid, Spain, 2021). She is currently represented by Cuban Fine Arts Gallery in New York.

Alehk Rod (Madrid, 1993) es artista plástica cuya práctica se fundamenta en la investigación pictórica a partir de la reinterpretación de las posibilidades de la mirada. Al tener un rango visual reducido por un condicionamiento físico, Alehk Rod constantemente deconstruye y construye en su trabajo todo lo que ve, interpretando su entorno de una forma muy personal. Es en este proceso visual cotidiano donde surge la inspiración que ha definido desde el inicio la línea de su trabajo y estilo pictórico, como un ejercicio de ironización de la realidad desde su propia condición visual. Su lenguaje visual parte de la deconstrucción de la imagen y la combinación de geometrías con una paleta de colores vivos que, a través de múltiples capas, plantea niveles de profundidad a través de lo plano, y la falta de nitidez a través de lo opaco. Su obra, que parte de una inicial figuración geométrica, desemboca finalmente en una abstracción arraigada en su interés por la forma y el uso del color. Su obra evoca las limitaciones de percepción espacial y la reinterpretación de la realidad a través de visiones caleidoscópicas.
Entre sus exposiciones más recientes destacan: 100 x 29 (Galería Arniches, El Principal, Vigo, España, 2022), Lille Art Up, Pedro Luis Requenart (Lille, Francia, 2022), Joy (Garna Gallery, Madrid, España, 2021). Actualmente está representada por la Galería Cuban Fine Arts en Nueva York.
